By joining Verizon as a leader in the Corporate Communications organization, you will have the opportunity to own and drive the story of how we are building a more connected future to power and empower our customer's lives. This role will oversee all aspects of Global Network & Technology & Verizon Global Services communications and lead a team focused on media relations, employee engagement, thought leadership and reputation management. Additionally, this individual will be an active participant in crisis and issues communications and an advisor to leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have effective writing and communication skills and the capacity to engage with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced setting. While this is a senior position in the team, you will be required to take the pen, not just manage the work. Experience working in a global, matrixed organization, as well as experience in executive communications, is considered a critical asset. You should also exhibit a strong command of key industry issues and trends shaping the tech sector. More than anything, you must be a trusted, strategic counselor to senior leaders with the ability to drive influence. Responsibilities will include:
