Senior Manager, Manufacturing Maintenance
Job Description:
Entegris is looking to hire an experienced Senior Manufacturing Maintenance Manager to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations within our dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our facility, equipment, and systems through effective leadership, maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. Theposition is located at our Aurora, IL campus and reports to the Director of Engineering and Maintenance. We operate a state-of-the-art facility that runs three shifts five days a week, and we are committed to the safety and well-being of our employees and the environment. Key Results/Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise the maintenance technicians and electricians to ensure appropriate resources are available on all shifts to support operations effectively.
- Plans, organizes, leads, and controls daily activities of the Maintenance department.
- Manage payroll system for direct reports for punch times and time-off requests to ensure compliance with the department attendance policy.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement through cascading goal setting, coaching, training, development, and feedback.
- Own the site's maintenance results as measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) such as PM completion rate, spare parts inventory levels, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), and budget control.
- Drive maintenance-level continuous improvement projects (safety, 5S, ergonomics, sustainability, etc.).
- Drive initiatives to improve maintenance processes and practices, leveraging technology and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Utilize SAP-PM, Parsable, and Reliance ETQ to create, modify, implement, and oversee the preventive maintenance structure and programs for production equipment.
- Develop and manage comprehensive maintenance strategies, including predictive maintenance, to maximize equipment uptime and minimize unplanned downtime
- Coordinate required downtime and schedule maintenance activities and resources (internal and external) to complete all required maintenance activities.
- Utilize Ariba to purchase parts and services as needed.
- Collaborate closely with production, EH&S, pilot plant, and quality departments to align maintenance activities with operational goals and compliance requirements.
- Maintain strong housekeeping, a safe and orderly work environment, and compliance with ISO and quality standards.
- Responsible for setting up contracts, service agreements, POs, etc., with external vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and other company policies. Working with the Procurement team as needed.
- Monitor DIW, wastewater, process utilities, and production processes' performance and alarms and provide emergency response as needed.
- Conduct regular maintenance inspections of facility and grounds and provide a summary of recommendations and related programs to leadership
- Adhere to all Entegris and Site EH&S guidelines, policies, procedures, and permitting requirements to drive the safety culture within the maintenance team.
Key knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team across multiple shifts
- Strong proficiency in maintenance management systems, specifically SAP and Ariba
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in a manufacturing context
- Effective oral and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills
Education, Experience, Licensing, and Capabilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the chemical industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Master's degree or certifications in maintenance management (such as CMRP) is a plus.
- Six Sigma experience is a plus.

- Compensation: $135,000 - $165,000 Yearly Salary range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
