Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Logistics Analyst Intern to join our operations team. In this role, you will work closely with senior management to develop a comprehensive understanding of business operations, both operationally and financially. Your primary focus will be on identifying process gaps, driving improvements, and contributing to enhanced business intelligence and operational efficiency. This internship offers valuable exposure to logistics and supply chain management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing, communicating, and resolving operational, process, and systems issues.
  • Proactively identify trends, process improvements, and customer needs, and help propose and implement solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams (Administration and Operations) to meet company and customer objectives.
  • Help document, outline, and create written procedures (SOPs), and assist with training personnel when needed.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and requests, collaborating with Financial Analysts.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist with tracking and analyzing logistics performance metrics to improve operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to special projects related to process optimization, system improvements, and cost savings.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Knowledge or interest in the Logistics industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis is a plus.
  • The ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to approach situations with emotional intelligence, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Customer-focused and adaptable to change.
  • Self-driven, organized, and able to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time and work flexible hours as required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range: $23-$27/hr

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
