Position Description

Quantabio is a leading provider of advanced DNA and RNA amplification reagents for the most demanding molecular testing applications in applied, translational and life science research.

The Quantabio team leverages decades of experience in developing pioneering amplification technologies to deliver cutting-edge products to researchers focused on critical cloning, PCR, qPCR and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) based applications.

Based in Beverly, Mass., Quantabio offers a growing portfolio of products through its international sales operations, as well as a global network of distributors and commercial service providers.

We are seeking a Genomics Sales Specialist, for our Quantabio brand, preferably based in the Atlanta, Georgia area to represent our NGS, qPCR and PCR reagents as well as our Q qPCR instrument. The Quantabio sales team offers and supports a unique set of reagents separate from the QIAGEN portfolio.

Knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing and qPCR is needed, along with the ability to communicate technical information to varied scientific audiences.

- Responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction, building customer relationships, and selling the company's products and services in the assigned territory

- Meet or exceed sales targets by using the company tools and processes.

- Implementation of strategy in defined accounts and being able to have a strong forecast accuracy.

- Identify key accounts/leaders in the field of genomics within the territory.

- Will work with distribution channel within the territory to generate leads/revenue.

- Will maintain and utilize CRM.


Position Requirements

- 4 year science degree.

- Masters or PhD in molecular biology field preferred.

- 2 years sales experience preferred.

- NGS, PCR or qPCR bench experience preferred

- Must have valid US driver's license and ability to drive.

- Ability to work in teams.

- Ability to lift 30 lbs.


Personal Requirements

- Territory: Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida.

- Ideally based in Atlanta, Georgia.

- Up to 4 overnights a month.
