Staffmark is looking to hire a skilled Accounting Manager in Torrance, CA. If you have the required skills and experience, we want to hear from you!

Salary: $95,000 - $100,000

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of one Accounts Payable subordinate and managing the accounts payable payment process. You'll handle bi-weekly payroll entries, record expenditures, and calculate Paid Time Off (PTO) activity. You'll also be in charge of fixed asset maintenance and following up on Construction-in-Progress projects. Other responsibilities include reviewing monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, maintaining balance sheets, and ensuring the accuracy of monthly income statements for all subsidiaries. You'll also prepare and interpret financial reports, assist with inventory recording and evaluations, and liaise with auditors during financial audits.

Responsibilities:



  • Manage accounts payable and payment processes
  • Perform payroll entries, including PTO calculations
  • Handle fixed asset maintenance and project follow-ups
  • Ensure the accuracy of balance sheets and monthly income statements
  • Analyze financial data and prepare monthly reports
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external auditors during quarter-end and year-end audits
  • Assist with inventory recording and evaluation, including LCM and Slow-Moving inventory
  • Perform other duties as needed



Job Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 6 years of related experience, including 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • Fluency in Mandarin for preparing and interpreting quarterly financial reports
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite tools; Accounting Software knowledge
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule if necessary
