Accounting Manager Wayne, NJ Onsite - Consumer Product Goods Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and workflow of small team (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit, General Accounting). Manage, develop/coach, set targets for and supervise Accounting/Finance personnel. Direct the Accounting Department process, procedures, and systems necessary to maintain proper records and ensure adequate accounting controls and services and adherence to GAAP. Prepares and maintains financial records including the general ledger. Report up to the CFO on any issues and opportunities for process improvements and positive change. Work with the CFO on budgeting, audit, tax, and accounting activities. Assist CFO in financial planning for the organization. Prepare timely and detailed analysis/reports on financial performance and forecasts on a quarterly and annual basis for presentation to CFO and Management. Oversee all audit and internal control operations. Report on all financial discrepancies and findings to Management. Qualifications: Minimum 5-years' experience in an Accounting Manager position or similar role in a consumer products company. In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting. Highly proficient in the use of MS Office. Knowledge of NetSuite a plus. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience in both Direct to Consumer and Retail business a plus. BS/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MBA is a plus. CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus.
