If this sounds like a fit for you so far, keep reading. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Content Development/Copywriting & Product Page Optimization
- Develop product copy and advertising marketing copy, maintain and enhance product titles, content descriptions, categorization, and keywords to improve page rank and consumption.
- Implement image standardization process alongside Creative by ensuring consistency for brand standards.
- Actively monitor reviews and customer inquiries to gain insights on product gaps and opportunities.
- Evaluate, create, and track continued improved copy/product images through competitor product/category research, and consumer feedback information, product improvements, and market dynamics.
- Work to understand the product or category needs through discussions with or input from Product Development Managers, Customer Reviews/Questions, Customer Service, etc.
- Troubleshoot Amazon customer product content verifications due to consumer low reviews or complaints.
Sales & Reporting Analysis
- Pull weekly, monthly, quarterly and YTD performance data from Amazon's vendor and seller portals for insights team for ecommerce performance reporting.
- Establish new item sales forecasts and plan existing items sales forecast lifts based on advertising campaigns.
- Execute Amazon search term analytics and competitive benchmarking and recommendations to drive business KPIs.
- Execute ongoing analysis to compare past and current sales combined with pricing and competitive factors to achieve target growth.
- Manage Amazon for errors, alerts, questions and inquiries and resolve with a high sense of urgency.
- Monitor marketplace patterns and trends to support our Amazon growth strategy and make recommendations related to competitive assortment, pricing, content and consumer engagement.
- Engage relationships with other departments that provide and use data (product development managers and engineering).
Amazon 3P Marketplace Management
- Maintain all processes required to evolve key 3rd party marketplace into a profitable customer channel.
- Develop strong product/category entrance and exit strategies on key 3rd party marketplace sites including item setups, maintenance, promotional campaigns, to drive incremental profitable sales.
- Research and optimize listings leveraging Seller Central and other tools to enhance placement and organic search performance.
- Work with internal forecasting, supply chain and customer service teams to maintain consistent inventory levels.
- Support the forecasting/inventory, warehouse/distribution and customer service management teams by opening case management requests with Amazon 3P on content, shipments lost/tracking, chargebacks or A/R disputes.
- Become owner and expert at managing select 3rd party tools to distribute and upload data to channel partner accounts.
New Item Setup
- Perform item set up for new items/brand stores on Amazon: item categorization, enhance product titles, product/package dimensions, pricing, images, advanced marketing content-A+ pages, and links.
- Provide keyword research for new product setup for best content optimization.
- Submit design ideas and requests for infographics, imagery, photographs, and videos to creative team for item setups and advertising.
- Track status of new item setups, shipments, inventory and selling patterns
- Work with eCommerce Marketing Manager and NAM on Amazon strategies that provide actionable insights.
- Provide back up to Sales Support Specialist for item setup for other retailers channels.
Marketing/Advertising
- Support strong product/category sales campaigns by setting up online coupons, best deals and promotions that drive profitable sales and meet targeted ROI goals.
- Track vendor and seller expenses for monthly sales expense reporting and forecasting.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Retailing/Retail Merchandising, Marketing, Advertising, Business/Journalism or related field.
- 1-3 years of eCommerce Retail/Consumer products industry experience a must (Amazon preferred)
- Experience working with retail POS data in a CPG environment is preferred
- Independent thinker and excellent problem solver. Able to acquire new skills and knowledge "on the fly" in order to resolve issues with customer invoice/chargeback reconciliation and warehouse operational performance metrics.
- Use analytical skills to monitor trends, diagnose problems and surface opportunities.
- Must possess a strong sense of responsibility, proven ability to achieve results and adhere to firm deadlines, analytical and organization skills, strong business judgement, accuracy, excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
- Able to juggle multiple high priority tasks.

- The position will require initiative on the part of the person to work independently to deliver insights on the business.
- Demonstrated skills working on small projects and basic analytic assignments required.
- Proficiency in Excel to include use of pivot tables, charting, and external data connections is preferred
- Knowledgeable in standard office equipment and computer software including Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word and Power Point.
- Must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication and organization skills, project a professional image, and interact effectively with all levels within the organization.
