The Role

This position works within the Unified Communications (UC) team to deliver project outcomes, fulfill standard requests for service, and isolate and resolve faults in the PACCAR communications infrastructure. This position contributes to the deployment and support of communications services used by PACCAR employees, dealers, customers, and shareholders.

Job Responsibilities & Projects
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support on PACCAR's UC services. Fulfill service requests and resolve incidents.
  • Use knowledge base and collaboration opportunities to troubleshoot UC related problems.
  • Assist with the installation and integration of Microsoft Teams room technologies in deployments.
  • Diagnose and resolve layer 1 issues including low voltage wiring supporting network and UC installations.
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams globally.
  • No line voltage requirements.
Required Experience
  • 1+ years of experience working on the Microsoft 365 service portfolio including:
    • Microsoft Exchange Online (EXO)
    • Microsoft Teams (MSTO)
    • Microsoft OneDrive Online (ODO)
    • Microsoft SharePoint Online (SPO)
  • Experience with Exchange operations including mailbox restores and quarantine operations.
  • Experience diagnosing Microsoft Teams operations including help with managing Teams.
  • Interest in Unified Communications deployment and maintenance.
  • Experience provisioning and deprovisioning hardware and software including updating record keeping systems.
  • Written and verbal communication skills including the ability to complete operations and network documentation.
Preferred Qualification
  • Experience with Cisco phone systems including Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
  • Experience with Service Now IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.
  • Experience working in Azure, Google, or Amazon cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations.
Education
  • Progress toward M365 certifications desired.
  • Enrollment in in Computer Science or related bachelor's degree program.
