Summary of Job Description:

The CFT Receptionist position acts as the first point of contact for visitors and answers and screens calls. This position greets and assists visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. The Receptionist also provides support broad administrative support to the executive team.

You'll get a chance to:

  • Greets and assists visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Maintains a clean and organized reception area.
  • Handles incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Coordinates scheduling and booking for meeting rooms.
  • Manages the main phone line by answering, screening, and directing calls.
  • Provides broad administrative support to the executive team, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
  • Assists in coordinating meetings, including preparing agenda and following up on action items.
  • Conducts research and compiles data for projects as needed.
  • Provides support for office events and group meetings including but not limited to coordinating vendors, receiving food order, setting up and cleaning up, as well as any logistics that may arise
  • Assists with onboarding for new hires and conducts I-9 verifications.

Your background and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in reception, office administration or executive assistance is preferred
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings (including but not limited to store training, Recognizing & Preventing Sexual Harassment training, Conscious Inclusion training, and Landmark Forum, etc.)
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: S2 $22.50-$28.50 / Hourly

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.

ADA Statement:

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam table and food vapors. Workspace is restricted and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods of time. Employees must prepare hot and cold foods, use Chinese cook knife and other kitchen equipment and work quickly without losing accuracy. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand up to four hours and reach across counter tops measured at 36 inches to serve customers. Kitchens are hot and noise levels are usually high; storage space is limited and shelving is high. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, have effective verbal communication skills, ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts/difficult situations.
