Supplier Enablement Specialist (Hybrid Eligible)

Overview:

We are seeking a Supplier Enablement Specialist who will focus on Ariba vendor registrations, customer service for vendor registrations both internally and with vendors. This position resides in the Contracts Compliance group in the Contracts Divison of the Business Services Directorate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL).

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

• Registers suppliers/businesses in the Ariba system and ensures their registrations are in compliance with all requiredpolicies/procedures.
• Document and update system requirements or data based of internal operating procedures
• Meet in person/on calls with internal customers and/or external stakeholders to facilitate team and business priorities and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate, troubleshoot, connect, and liaise between suppliers and ORNLs Ariba Administrator
• Assist with other ad hoc projects and events within division

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma and 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be customer service oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse laboratory population.
• General troubleshooting experience
• Must have excellent communication skills, written and oral, and must be able to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all levels.
• Must have high level of organization and computer skills, working knowledge of PC, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Adobe Acrobat). Must have excellent time management, written and verbal skills

• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and to participate creatively in collaborative teams across the laboratory
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment, set priorities to accomplish multiple tasks within deadlines, and adapt to ever changing needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ariba and or SAP software platforms,

This position is located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and requires onsite presence. We offer a flexible work environment that supports both the organization and the employee. A hybrid/onsite working arrangement may be available with this position, which provides flexibility to work periodically from your home, while reporting onsite to the Oak Ridge, Tennessee location on a weekly and regular basis.
