Primary Purpose Sempra Infrastructure seeks an outstanding transactional attorney with expertise in the energy industry, who will oversee matters related to the Port Arthur LNG project, including project development, joint venture implementation, corporate governance, gas supply and midstream matters, procurement matters, including negotiating contracts for the construction and operation of the project, regulatory (including affiliate transactions) and compliance issues. The successful candidate will have a deep and nuanced understanding of the LNG industry and will coordinate with internal and external specialized consultants to ensure the project is and remains in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for designated project(s) and business(es). Day-to-day activities will include (i) review, analysis, interpretation and administration of joint venture agreements, O&M, project administration and construction management agreements, LNG sale and purchase agreements, natural gas supply and transportation agreements, interconnection agreements, as well as other project contracts; and (ii) interaction with both domestic and international counterparties and collaboration with multi-functional teams in support of the designated project(s) and business(es) and Sempra Infrastructure's business at large. HYBRID: Work a combination of onsite and remote days each week, typically 3 days per week onsite. Legal Full-time $185,200.00 $247,250.00 $309,300.00 Note: The Company strives to ensure that employees are paid equitably and competitively.
