POSITION SUMMARY

The Provider Sourcing Specialist sources, screens and refers quality candidates through various databases, recruits both passive and active candidates to fill provider needs, communicates and develops strong relationships with Recruiters and leadership, attends national and local recruitment events to build our candidate pipeline and educates upcoming providers on Ardent Health.


Responsibilities

  • Lead provider sourcing activities for specified provider specialties to ensure open provider positions are filled in an efficient manner with qualified providers to represent Ardent.
  • Source, screen and refer quality providers to hospitals to include mining and review of candidate CV's, cold calling, database review and entry, extensive phone interviews with potential providers.
  • Post jobs through internal and external databases, utilizing advanced sourcing techniques to identify qualified passive and active candidates.
  • Serve as the first point of contact in the candidate screening process and introduces the provider to the Recruiter.
  • Manage and maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure all jobs are accurately posted on the corporate website, track all candidate interaction and information, and implement sourcing strategies and referral process/pipeline provider databases, which include posting and maintaining accurate job openings and descriptions to attract candidates to apply for open positions.
  • Accountable for the opening/hand-off of the Provider Interview Form process.
  • Collaborate with AVP to create recruitment strategies for assigned specialties to include internal and external website utilization, marketing initiatives, and streamlined recruitment key messaging.
  • Participate in local and national recruitment/networking events and meetings.
  • Manage all candidates presented to hospitals and ensure that all presentations are detailed and accurately completed.
  • Participate in group calls and assigned work groups to provide feedback and offer best practice suggestions to overcome recruitment barriers in the field.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years related experience.
  • CPRP certification, preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to use electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate simple functions into documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations to support business objectives.
  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Ability to follow clear directions and procedures.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with moderate complexity.
  • Ability to train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.
  • Ability to communicate with leadership and Recruiters regarding process, provider opportunities, and candidates in the pipeline.
  • Ability to maintain knowledge of emerging technology to stay abreast of innovative sourcing trends and recruitment best practices.
