Responsibilities

• Operate a mechanical metal saw to cut various components
• Measure steel parts to ensure accuracy with shop drawings
• Operate mechanical steel channel bending equipment
• Maintain a clean orderly and safe workplace.
• Fill in for absent workers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Adhere to company safety standards
• Experience operating mechanical saw or similar
• Experience in a fabrication environment
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
• Ability to learn fork-lift and an overhead crane, experience preferred
• Ability to keep up with a demanding production schedule.
• Able to excel in a team-oriented work setting.
• Good organization and communication skills.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions for this position, including the ability to lift 65 lbs.
