Job Summary

Coordinates the operational activities associated with online programs of the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing & Health Sciences encompassing Health Services Administration (HSA), Athletic Training (AT), and Nursing departments, to provide support for students, faculty, and alumni of the online programs. This role is responsible for overseeing engagement initiatives related to these programs. The coordinator reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives.

  • Assists the Director of Strategic Initiatives in coordinating and administrating the operational and administrative activities of the NWCNHS online programs. Ensures operational timelines and processes are adhered to, met, and documented.
  • Coordinates the development, scheduling and implementation of new and ongoing academic/student programs or services of NWCNHS online programs. Provides recommendations regarding operational procedure changes in support of the strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Manages and administers administrative duties to support the NWCNHS online programs including interactive events such as networking opportunities, guest lecture series, and mentorship programs Provides input and makes recommendations in the preparation of strategic plans in support of HSA, AT, and Nursing online programs.
  • Monitors status of initiatives and projects, while establishing and maintaining standards. Analyzes program data, develops reports, and oversees activities for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with department chairs, faculty, staff, and college stakeholders. Provides support to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and ensures needs are met related to ongoing initiatives, projects, and program matters.
  • Serves as liaison between internal and external contacts regarding the programs, engagements, initiatives.
  • Provides direct support to the Director of Strategic Initiatives in developing, planning, coordinating, and executing program engagement strategies that align with the college's mission.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience providing administrative support, or coordinating functions of an office or department.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education, marketing, operations, and communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of engagement best practices, particularly in engagement and community relations.
  • Experience in marketing, leveraging social media, and overseeing multiple projects concurrently.
