Overview of the Position:

Leads a team performing various aspects of warehouse functions including counting, picking, put away, auto packing and cycle counts of aviation components for accurate customer order processing. Responsible in ensuring shipments to the customer are made with 100% quality, on time, cost effectively, and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Assists in determining work schedules and assigning areas of responsibility to warehouse personnel to optimize workflow and ensure effective completion of area functions.
  • Assists in personnel performance reviews.
  • Provides direction and guidance to warehouse personnel on policies and procedures (Mentor & Coach Team Members).
  • Assists warehouse personnel with order fulfillment activities to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders.
  • Assists with employee training and safety programs; planning, developing, and implementing training activities and standardizing methods throughout the Department to optimize productivity and reduce quality defects.
  • Supports order fulfillment activities for timely service delivery and takes action to correct problems.
  • Ensures the accuracy and overpack of the shipments are followed each day.
  • Communicates with related departments to maintain effective product flow and effect necessary changes.
  • Assists in maintaining complete and accurate records of warehouse activities and preparation of management reports.
  • Ensures the security of equipment and materials received and stored.
  • Inspects warehouse equipment for proper functioning and maintenance. Ensure safety regulations are adhered to.
  • Assist Leadership with responsibility for closing and opening of facilities as needed including after-hours A.O.Gs.
  • Assumes responsibility for the warehouse in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; expected to gain proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software as applicable.

Education / Experience Requirements:HighSchool Diploma or G.E.D. Equivalent. Preferred three to five years' related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mathematical Skills:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
