Job Summary:

This is a new position within the Adult & Child Center for Outcomes Research & Delivery Science (ACCORDS). The Wrap-Around Pre- and Post-awards Specialist position will facilitate pre- and post-award activities needed for successful grant submission and grant post-award setup for researchers at ACCORDS, which will advance the ACCORDS center-level research agenda. This position will work in lockstep with the ACCORDS grants team pre- and post-award administrators to support Investigators through the proposal and project initiation processes. The level of support provided by the pre-award specialist is focused on the content and compliance pieces of the proposals and set up for grants successfully awarded. Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate meetings for ACCORDS investigators as needed to support the content production for grant submissions and create and manage document sharing across the research team.
- Track and manage the progress of submission content creation/tasks to help ensure deadlines are met and provide electronic file management for assigned proposals.
- Compile, format, and provide drafts of study record information for grant proposals including recruitment and retention plan, protection of human subjects, data safety monitoring plan, study timeline, facilities and environment descriptions, statistical analysis plans, trial management experience, inclusion/enrollment tables, multiple PI plan, Data Use Agreement/Data Management plan, etc.
- Support the set-up of project infrastructure and coordinate activities for ACCORDS Investigators until their study team is onboarded, which includes, but is not limited to:
- TRA reviews
- Drafting job/position descriptions
- Establishing gift card programs
- Coordinating project meetings
- Assist with the design of REDCap databases and surveys
- Facilitate procurement
- Draft subcontractor scopes of work
- Set-up/register study(ies) in clinicaltrials.gov

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 4 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:

Senior Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Two (2) years of clinical or health services research or related experience
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Senior Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Three (3) - Seven (7) years relevant experience
- Pre- and post-award study start-up experience.
- Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team.
Principal Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Four (4) years of clinical or health services research or related experience
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Principal - Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Twelve (12) years relevant experience
- APMP Certification
- Pre- and post-award study start-up experience.
- Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team.

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as Senior: $56,554 - $71,936 Principal: $65,037 - $82,727 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
