Quality Assurance Intern

Join our Quality team as a Quality Assurance Intern and gain hands-on experience in ensuring product excellence. You'll assist with inspections, data analysis, process improvements, and compliance with ISO 9001 standards while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The summer internship program typically begins after spring semester and ends before the start of the fall semester. This is an exciting opportunity for students who are highly motivated, enjoy a challenge, and are looking to expand their career. This position reports on-site to the AMSOIL Center in Superior, Wisconsin.

Core Responsibilities:



  • Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
  • Perform floor audits to verify packaging processes and documentation
  • Assist in the development of quality assurance plans and improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection records
  • Assist in preparing quality reports and analyzing trends for improvements
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action projects
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns
  • Assist in developing training materials related to quality standards and procedures
  • Engage in quality training sessions to expand your knowledge and expertise


Position Requirements:



  • Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Junior or Senior class standing
  • Available 40 hours/week Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the summer months
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of quality principles (e.g., root cause analysis, corrective actions).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

  • Pay Type: Hourly
  • Starting Pay: $19/hour
