Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit
The mission of the Office of Assessment, Accreditation, and Academic Program Planning is to support the University by leading activities related to University-wide accreditation and institutional effectiveness.

To accomplish its mission, OAA provides consultation, training, and administrative and technical support related to assessment, including General Education; internal and external academic program change procedures; SACSCOC compliance; and strategic planning activities for faculty and staff.
Position Summary
The purpose of the University Specialist is to support the planning, execution, and closure of projects related to the SACSCOC Reaffirmation of Accreditation, departmental reviews, institutional effectiveness and assessment, and strategic planning. The position also provides back-up support for various OAAAPP activities.
Minimum Qualifications

BACHELOR'S DEGREE AND ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE RELATED TO THE AREA OF ASSIGNMENT; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE. ALL DEGREES MUST BE RECEIVED FROM APPROPRIATELY ACCREDITED INSTITUTIONS.
