Role Summary:

The successful candidate will support planning and performance analysis for Electrify America's public fast charging network. This responsibility requires developing analysis & tools to assess economics for new EV charging locations. This role partners cross-functionally, especially with the operations, technology, and sales and marketing groups, to ensure Electrify America is developing a financially sustainable network that helps unlock EV adoption.

Role Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate closely with Site Acquisition, Charging Operations, and Engineering teams to analyze financial viability of prospective charging locations. Develop process and methodologies for nuanced reviews of charging infrastructure proposals. Ensure site planning and selection meets customer and market needs and contributes towards Electrify America's long-term success and sustainability. (50%)
  • Support the development and refinement of tools and models to forecast financial performance across a national infrastructure portfolio. (30%)
  • Coordinate with Commercial Sales & Incentives to provide usage and financial modeling support for large opportunities/proposals (10%)
  • Manage special projects and analysis related to infrastructure planning and performance analysis (10%)


Qualifications

Years of Relevant Experience:



  • 3+ years of professional experience


Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, engineering or related field


Skills:



  • Analytical and conceptual thinking - using logic and reason, creative and strategic
  • Exceptional communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written
  • Integration - joining people, processes or systems
  • Problem solving - framing complex issues into solvable questions
  • Navigating uncertainty and ambiguity


Specialized Skills (Required):



  • Strong analytical skills - ability to collect, organize, and analyze data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Business analysis knowledge or experience, including financial forecasting
  • Strong skills in statistical analysis and econometric modeling and ability to work with incomplete and imperfect data sets
  • Presentation skills - ability to turn data into actionable information
  • Demonstrated precision & integrity in past work assignments and high initiative
  • Strong experience with Excel
  • Experience with or knowledge of utility or grid-scale infrastructure
  • Knowledge or interest in the EVs, EV charging, and/or the energy transition


Specialized Skills (Desired):



  • Experience with or knowledge of commercial real estate
  • Experience with SQL and Python
  • Experience with geospatial analysis
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license


Work Flexibility:



  • Estimated travel needs about 10% to attend meetings
