Senior BIM Manager - Water and Wastewater Utilities - The Woodlands, TX
Halff has a position open for a Water and Wastewater Senior BIM Manager. This position presents a tremendous opportunity for responsibility and growth in our The Woodlands, TX location. The minimum qualifications and responsibilities are described below:
Role accountabilities:
- Lead BIM model design, development, and delivery while ensuring that models and drawings comply with project and company standards.
- Lead coordination between project team disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical). Arrange necessary resources for effective file sharing across the company, with clients, sub consultants, or contractors.
- Assist the project manager with quality program compliance, including performing QA/QC reviews for technical approach, constructability, and uniformity.
- Develop BIM standards for the Water/Wastewater practice through collaborating with other BIM users within Halff as well as drawing upon industry standards, best practices, and prior experience.
- Review work and assist to mentor BIM staff and other BIM users (such as graduate engineers) within Central Texas and throughout Halff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10 years of experience in the production of designs using BIM.
- 5 years of experience with supporting Water/Wastewater projects using BIM.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
- Able to use various computer software as tools for managing project design, drawings development, and solving basic engineering problems.
- Demonstrates expertise with drafting, BIM processes, BIM coordination, and BIM outcomes.
- Can perform work in accordance with agreed budget and schedule with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of QA/QC reviews and quality program compliance best practices.
- Experience with mentoring/developing junior team members.
