The Employee Engagement team at Verizon is looking for a Communications Senior Analyst to support how we connect with our V Teamers and keep them informed of what's happening around Verizon. This individual will be responsible for writing and developing content for digital experiences such as intranet, email, newsletters, video, and Slack.

  • Designing audience-centric content across a mix of internal and external channels (i.e., newsletters, videos, articles, Slack, email, infographics).

  • Collaborating with Employee Engagement partners to maintain the internal communication calendar

  • Providing project management support to ensure the effective delivery of communications across our key channels.

  • Developing articles for Verizon's intranet platform - Inside Verizon - including employee stories, business updates, culture, and community spotlights and various other topics.

  • Supporting business partners by creating effective communication strategies and tactics that drive key programs and processes.

  • Drafting leadership communications, including organizational announcements, team memos, business updates, etc.

  • Working with the team to maintain the editorial calendar and ensure all content is delivered correctly.

  • Tracking the effectiveness of employee engagement initiatives and capturing results for reporting purposes.

  • Project manageming, including developing timelines, providing content guidance or support, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time, etc.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Three or more years of relevant work experience in employee engagement and communications.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.

  • Excellent storytelling skills and willingness to think strategically and develop engaging content.

  • Willingness to take direction and work with various partners to write and develop client deliverables, ranging from articles and videos to emails, leadership communications, and event materials.

  • Willingness to adapt quickly to changing priorities, pivot quickly, and respond with urgency.

  • Extreme attention to detail and experience "connecting the dots" across programs and topics.

  • Positive approach and commitment to collaboration with a shared purpose.

  • Tenacious content creation skills, constant curiosity, and the willingness to take a concept from ideation and strategy to execution.

  • A love of learning and trying new things.

  • .An excitement to grow at a fast-paced, Fortune 50 organization.
