Description Our Customer is the loan originator and Shellpoint is the mortgage servicer. They are a Microsoft shop and have several years worth of projects. Their mortgage servicing application is called Servicing Director and needs enhancements, new features, and bug fixes. Servicing Director application is built in C++ and SQL. They are adding sprint teams to help with this initiative, so we need SQL developers with mortgage or loan servicing experience. The big focus for this role is SQL performance tuning and bug fixes with legacy application and systems. Must know how to increase performance. Expertly tune a system or make intricate changes. 5-7 years plus. Thousands of lines of store procedures and optimizing stuff without changing the output. Writing store procedures(primary) SQL code, performance, not necessarily DBA (aware of various tools that are out there to help with performance). Looking at old SQL code and improving it. Not rewrite cosmetically but optimize stuff. Must have designed databases. This work is extremely important to the team and will help them meet the deadlines in order to get the application ready for the modernization project. Day to day this person will be working primarily in SQL (writing queries, stored procedures, indexes, designing tables, user functions, and TSQL).
