*Description*
Responsible for providing technical expertise to Product Development in the area of developing new e-learning courses and revising e-learning courses with an emphasis on advanced programming within the current development tool. Supports projects internally and is responsible for tasks and assignments associated with advanced in-activity development (e.g., interactivities, gamification). In this role, you will work on both front-end and back-end web environments to build client-side logic ensuring LMS compatibility. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions. Work with Product Development, Video, Contract Training, and other departments as needed to build courses compatible in a variety of LMS's, providing support developing custom views, activities, and technical support. Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned: * Creates/Revises e-learning using current development software * Maintains e-learning content using current development software * Provides guidance to the project teams to design, develop, and test SCORM compliant e-learning * Upload and configure e-learning content into the learning management systems * Integrates emerging advances activities to support instructional methods and technologies into e-learning * Test and Review designs for errors before publishing * Select, modify, and integrate existing instructional materials that employ multimedia and emerging technologies * Apply interaction design and interactive learning principles to instructional solutions for adult learners * Incorporate changes recommended by internal and external clients * Leverage web development languages like JavaScript for advanced learning activities and reduce development time. *Skills* E-learning, Training development, Lms, Adult learning, Instructional development, Curriculum development, Training materials, Learning management system, SCORM, interactive learning software, Instructional training, Design development, javascript, html5, css3, development, web development, Adobe captivate, Content creation, project management, project planning *Top Skills Details* E-learning,Training development,Lms,Adult learning,Instructional development,Curriculum development,Training materials,Learning management system,SCORM,interactive learning software,Instructional training,Design development,javascript,html5,css3,developm *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Skills and Qualifications: *Moderate understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds *Moderate understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3 *Collaboration with internal teams, external teams, and management to ensure requirements are met and projects are on schedule. *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills *Excellent follow-up, time management, and organization skills *Strong editing, written and oral communication skills *Strong interpersonal skills *Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously *Proactive technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills *Understanding of SCORM *Good understanding of LMS Development tools *Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues *Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance Experience and Education: * Associate's degree (A. A.) in Information Technology or related field * 3+ years' (or more) experience. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
