Job Description:

The Corporate Events Planner will partner with Gartner Business Units to deliver internal events for Gartner associates. They will handle event logistics including venue management, production, food and beverage, and content.

What you will do:

  • Partner with Gartner Business Units to deliver internal events for Gartner associates
  • Event logistics including management of venue, production, food and beverage, content
  • Financial Management
  • Winners Circle - Delivery of Gartner's annual Sales Incentive, Winners Circle
  • Venue Management
  • Collaboration with internal and external partners on production requirements
  • Food & beverage management
  • Financial management
  • Liaison with external suppliers/freelancers
  • Destination Management support
  • Build effective relationships with internal partners ensuring clear understanding of their strategy and priorities

What will be expected:

  • Build effective relationships with external partners ensuring clear communication of Gartner priorities
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively across pre-event and onsite teams
  • Effective project management including ownership of and adherence to timelines/templates and leveraging best practices
  • Continuous improvement through effective feedback collection and evaluation

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years event management experience
  • Proven project logistic & management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Financial/budget management experience - supplier and invoice management
  • Results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Superior poise and judgment (demonstrated "grace under pressure") with both internal and external constituencies
  • Competent in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, and OneDrive
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Strong service ethic and superior executive presence
  • Ability to work a flexible day schedule to cover early morning morning events, daytime and late evening events.
  • Ability to travel up to 20-30%

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 49,000 USD - 75,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
