Role Name: System Testing Analyst II Location: Columbia, SC Work Environment: 3 Days a week onsite (Tue, Wed & Thu) and as needed Contract length: 12 Months Job Summary: Duties/About the role: Provide service for multiple clients, including onsite service where needed. Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities. Track quality assurance metrics. 45% Participate in the design phase of projects to ensure that new or modified functions are developed using correct testing methodology. Arrange major activities between the client and IS staff to ensure maximum gain from technical resources. 45% Complete supportive administrative and lead activities such as attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports and developing processes. 10% Perform testing duties which may involve reviewing test data, creating test cases, executing testing, and monitoring/documenting results. Mentor and provide guidance to testing staff. Day to Day: Writing test plans, Developing test matrices, Defects management / reporting , Customer testing coordination, Testing Status and progress and collaborate with team members / management for other area specific needs / tasks. Work environment: The position holds a critical role in the application development process; testing new or modified applications to make sure they will work in the client's operating environment. Fast paced, multi-platformed environment which may require action and response 24X7 to support the technical business needs of the customer.? Team Info/Team name: We are a team of 12 people. We support testing all our web applications ( MHTK, MIM, Employer portals along with the Mobile app for the MHTK application ) , Mobile site testing along with production support validation. We also support IVR testing covering our call center applications. We are a testing team with a hybrid testing model (Both manual and automation testing). We also support our business areas with 24x7 production support / validation tasks.? Job Requirements: Required Experience: 5 years of IT experience to include experience developing test plans and/or matrices. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree. Required Software and Tools (Hands on experience required): WEB portals testing , Mobile app & site testing , Test planning and Defect management . Soft skills:Effective communication Strong team player mentality Able to adopt to fast changing environments / tasks. Able to work and support after hours , weekends and nights as needed. Nice to have/Preferred skills: Project life cycle / SDLC Agile methodology Tools supporting both Agile & Water fall (Azure, QC etc.) Test Automation tools like Selenium , Mobile app testing tools
