Summary:

This role provides business and financial analytical support and recommendations to the Global Marketing Organization for:



  • Strategic Planning and Annual Operating Planning
  • Financial Support and Analysis for the Global Ostomy Business
  • Financial Support, Planning, Analysis for the GMO Corporate Unit
  • Business partnership, including analysis and reporting


To accomplish assigned objectives, this individual will collaborate and coordinate with a variety of functions including Global Ostomy Business Team, Global/Local Marketing, Market Access, Product Development, Business Unit leadership, Finance/Pricing, Key Accounts/Sales, Operations and Legal. The scope of the work is global. Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Annual Operating Planning

Support the Strategic Plan and AOP financials for the Global Ostomy Product business, including:



  • Complete Strategic Plan rollup of global financials and review alignment to previous submissions. Reconcile and submit Strategic Plan financials timely in cooperation with GMIA, Operations, GMO and Corporate FP&A.
  • Review the Annual Operating Plans for alignment with the Strategic Plan, including market share gains.
  • Support the Ostomy Business Team in preparing key analytics and reporting in support of Plans


Financial Support and Analysis for the Global Ostomy Business



  • Ensure alignment across the global ostomy business for future and current initiatives
  • Partner with the commercial business units to accelerate Ostomy growth by providing insights and opportunities
  • Support cost savings initiatives and partner with operations to identify future opportunities and to execute on current ones
  • Collaborate with Global / local marketing, Market Access to influence pricing/reimbursement strategies and tactics
  • Look for opportunities to improve global ostomy reporting through Power BI, Workday, BPC, etc.


Financial Support, Planning, Analysis for Corporate Units



  • Support the development of the Annual Plan and year-end Projection deliverables for the GMO corporate unit
  • Collaborate with GMO leadership in the preparation of the Annual Plan and Projection financial requirements, presentations, narratives, and creation of their expense, capital, and headcount planning forecasts
  • Analyze and perform month-end financial support for the GMO corporate unit
  • Monthly and annual reporting with variance analysis and key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with the General Accounting department to ensure proper recording of expenses and capital (alignment of statutory reporting to management reporting)
  • Provide financial support for all Corporate Units as needed
  • Provide financial support for key deliverables and strategic initiatives


Business Partnership, including Analysis and Reporting



  • Analyze key business trends and provide insights to leaders and local teams
  • Leverage global tools to improve financial analysis standardization and best practices
  • Partner with GMO providing analysis and reporting to support strategies and tactics
  • Support timely monthly reporting, including Operating Committee
  • Other duties as needed or required



Requirements:




  • Number of Overall Years Necessary: 5-8
  • Finance experience in a commercial environment preferred
  • Medical Devices industry experience desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with business units and senior management to effectively communicate ideas and recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct complex financial and pricing analyses
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply knowledge of local market, product and customer segment characteristics and trends within a macro regional (e.g. European) / global framework
  • Demonstrate proven success in decision-making, organizational and influencing skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and lead small and large scope projects
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and work with little supervision


  • Bachelor's degree


  • MBA and/or post graduate / professional Finance qualification


Competencies:




  • Strong data analytics skills, including managing large data structures from multiple sources
  • Fluent with Microsoft Excel, proficient with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Subject matter expert within the area(s) of responsibility
  • Proactively manages complex and high-level subject matter and analysis work
  • Significant proficiency in leading complex projects & processes to completion
  • Capable of making own decisions and correct interpretations of complex information
  • Superior communication (written & oral) & presentation skills facilitating interaction with internal and external customers including executives leading to decision making
  • May have general oversight responsibilities for lower-level roles
  • Takes the initiative to ensure success, and requires minimal oversight
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to operate a computer

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $93,000 - $134,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
  • If applicable: This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Secure Start Bonus Plan. The Company also provides a unique Benefit of Employee Share Ownership Program (BESOP) program based on earnings and length of service.
