SSOE is seeking a Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2025. This position is an onsite role that requires you to work at our Nashville/Brentwood Office each day. Remote or hybrid work for this role is not available.



Responsibilities

The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule and within budget in a team environment.* Performs assigned tasks under close supervision of Department Manager or designee
* Receives specific and detailed instruction
* Interests in Electrical and Controls Design including Instrumentation and Networks. Good computer skills including Revit, Microsoft Office, AutoCad, and/or MicroStation skills a plus
* Learns and uses department standards, methods, and procedures respective to field of study.
* Meets various deadlines on daily duties or special projects assigned by DM or designee.
* Occasional local travel may be required for client visits.
* Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.



Qualifications

* Students must be enrolled in a 4-yeaar ABET accredited electrical engineering program. majoring in Electrical Engineering or technically related discipline.
* Interested in a career in electrical power or consulting industry.
* Rising Junior or Senior academic year preferred.
* Revit and MS Excel experience preferred.
* Demonstrated organizational skills.
Salary range: $20-$23 per hour depending on year in school.
