Executive Service BUSINESS DOMAIN DIRECTOR Department of Finance and Administration Strategic Technology Solutions Nashville, TN Monthly Salary: $9,761.00 - $12,718.00 Closing Date: 03/03/2025 This position is designated as hybrid.Background Check: This position requires CJIS fingerprints. Who we are and what we do: The Business Domain Director is a position which reports directly to the BSD Executive Director and manages several teams that support the agencies in the Law, Safety and Correction Business Domain within the enterprise organization, Strategic Technology Solutions (STS). The Business Domain Director serves as a point of contact within Strategic Technology Solutions (STS) responsible for managing the Law, Safety and Correction Domain. The Business Domain Director enables the delivery of high-quality service to customers and ensures customer support and service delivery processes are in place to meet Departmental IT solutions and services requests. The Domain Director coordinates all aspects of IT service delivery and customer service, serving as an ambassador for IT, collaborating with other STS enterprise service owners to provide effective communication on IT matters and building relationships with other teams to ensure effective dialogue between the Law, Safety and Correction departments and STS. This position leads the collaboration with Law, Safety and Correction departments to provide technical expertise and innovative solutions that support their ability to deliver services efficiently and effectively to citizens. Key Responsibilities: 1. Experience managing IT project delivery and ongoing IT application services. 2. Ensures the delivery of business-driven solutions and services that are high-quality, customer-focused, and cost-efficient in support of internal and external customers. 3. Ensures that hardware and/or software components are refreshed prior to becoming obsolete and unsupportable and therefore becoming a risk to the enterprise environment. 4. Identifies areas to improve operational resiliency, redundancy, and develops contingency plans to restore operations in case of disruption. 5. Leads the domain team to deliver annual agency Information Systems Plans, Resource Plans, and monthly tracking of Labor Cost Billing. 6. Partners with STS staff, agencies and vendors to provide technical expertise and innovative solutions to deliver services efficiently and effectively. Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUM PRACTICE: 1. Bachelor's degree in an IT or Business-related field. Relevant professional information technology experience may be substituted for the required degree. 2. Experience working with Leadership to create IT strategies. 3. Experience directing IT teams and functions of moderate to complex difficulty. 4. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, and best practices as they relate to information systems governance. BONUS QUALIFICATIONS/TRAITS: 1. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Qualified or expert knowledge of ITIL disciplines. 2. Experience in leading virtual teams. 3. Experience in managing vendors and 3rd party delivered services. 4. Experience leading in a diverse environment.
