POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The incumbent manages the staff and overall operations of the warehouse, including ordering, receiving, processing, recording, and distributing of supplies, tools, and materials. Base salary range of $59K - $65K KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Briefs staff on material to be loaded/delivered and assists as-needed.
- Verifies tools and materials are correct for job delivery before trucks are dispatched.
- Partners with field staff to schedule deliveries.
- Coordinates and monitors delivery schedules for truck drivers to ensure timeliness.
- Oversees subcontracted trucking services, and assigns/maintains shop vehicles.
- Receives and logs daily incoming freight for branch construction projects, service, and warehouse.
- Systematically tracks all tools delivered to/returned from job sites.
- Reviews delivery documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Facilitates the maintenance/repair of tools, so that tool kits remain complete and in good working order.
- Establishes laydown areas and ensures job-specific materials are stored appropriately.
- Monitors and replenishes stock on an as-needed basis.
- Conducts periodic inventories of tools and consumables, and escalates needs for approval.
- Maintains MSDS files for shop-specific and field inventoried items.
- Maintains safety PPE.
- Arranges for weight capacity certification tests of certain equipment/tools according to OSHA standards.
- Coordinates the disposal of environmental waste in accordance with EPA procedures.
- Serves as a substitute truck driver when scheduling needs arise.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This position operates predominantly in a warehouse environment, but makes outside deliveries out in the field to construction projects. Performance of job tasks may entail varying exposure to weather, potentially harmful materials or chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, dangerous machinery, and/or other conditions typically associated with active warehouses and/or construction sites.

TRAVEL:
- This position may require up to 40% local travel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of applicable warehouse/inventory experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of tools and materials utilized in the HVAC and plumbing industry.
- Proficiency with tool/asset/consumable tracking software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass an MVR review.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have a driving record compliant with the Company's policies and MVR requirements, and consent to ongoing driving record monitoring by the Company.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous people management experience preferred.
- Forklift training is a plus.
