We pro-actively partner with business areas to develop new capabilities, build reliable solutions, and efficiently manage the corporation's investment in technology and end-to-end processes.The Global team in Hallmark Technology supports our core Global business with Technology solutions to drive efficiency and ease of use for our business partners. This organization is responsible for identifying and delivering technology strategies and solutions that advance consumer and retail priorities for Hallmark Gold Crown & mass channel retail, Hallmark Digital, and Supply Chain. We are a fast paced, agile team with an effective team culture! We play a key role in managing an effective relationship between IT and our Global business partners, as well as helping advance the development and implementation of a multi-year technology roadmap.

What this role entails and how you'll contribute

Hallmark's Information Technology team is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Software Engineer to support our Product Lifecycle management technology platform. In this role, you will be a critical decision-maker responsible for developing and implementing business product requirements into the solution. You will lead the work to deliver new capabilities and optimize our Product Lifecycle management process, serving as subject matter expert working collaboratively with external technology partners and internal agile teams to deliver best-in-class solutions within the technology platform. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, as you will provide technical expertise and ensure the delivery of top-notch solutions within the environment while maintaining Agile principles and methodologies. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you will empower Hallmark Technology to swiftly respond to market demands, deliver incremental value to customers, and sustain a competitive advantage in the ever-evolving tech landscape.

This role involves:



  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to implement Product Lifecycle management solutions according to Product specifications.
  • Developing customizations and integrations to enhance the functionality of our Product Lifecycle management solution.
  • Collaborating with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conducting system testing and validation to ensure the quality and integrity of the solutions.
  • Preparing technical documentation, including system designs, deployment plans, and user guides.
  • Staying up to date with the latest product features and industry best practices.



This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:



  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years professional work experience.
  • Experience in technology systems administration, software development, or technical role.
  • Knowledge of software development processes, backlog management, and requirements translation.
  • Experience with collaboration and discovery and stakeholder alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with .Net Framework, C#



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume/application will stand out if you have:



  • Experience in Product Lifecycle Management applications.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and tools (ADO, Jira, Trello, etc.) to manage projects effectively.
  • Deep understanding of data relationships to enable System-to-System performance and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with application testing, debugging and analysis of issues.
  • Strong technical acumen and familiarity with software development processes, programming languages, data analytics, or other technical domains relevant to the product are highly desirable.
  • Strong technical skills to interpret and analysis data using SQL.
  • Proven background in collaboration and creative problem solving to deliver upon business objectives.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to influence and align stakeholders are crucial for success.
  • The ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration across departments is highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and a high volume of initiatives at one time.
  • MF experience/working knowledge or modernization of legacy technologies would be a plus.
  • Proactively prioritize the work and manage expectations.
  • Curious and initiative-taker.
  • Customer focused mentality.


ADDITIONAL DETAILS

This position is located out of our headquarters office in Kansas City, MO.



  • Preference to have local associates of Kansas City or Suburb region, working from HQ 1-2 times per week.
  • Remote candidates can be considered for Hybrid position with occasional travel to the corporate office (couple days each quarter (min)/month (max)).
