Join our team as a Director of Human Resources!
This is a hybrid role being onsite in Maple Plain, MN on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for supporting the leaders in our Global Go to Market Teams (Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations), as well as our Global Technical Service (GTS). This role requires a deep understanding of the business, the development of effective HR strategies and services that align with our business and culture, and collaboration with executive team members and their direct reports to implement policies and programs that drive business success. The Director of HR will serve as a leadership advisor and provide professional input to business decisions, with global responsibilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership:
  • Partner with COEs (Centers of Excellence) and site/in-country HR to support global functions.
  • Understand the business as a whole and develop HR strategies that align with business goals and culture.
  • Collaborate with executive team members and their direct reports to implement HR policies and programs.
Leadership Advisory:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR-related matters.
  • Provide professional input to business decisions, ensuring alignment with HR best practices and organizational goals.
  • Offer guidance on talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
Global HR Operations:
  • Oversee HR operations for Global Go to Market Teams and Global Technical Service.
  • Ensure compliance with global HR policies and regulations.
  • Manage global HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs to enhance morale and productivity in partnership with leaders in customer groups supported by director
Talent Acquisition and Development:
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop and implement talent development programs to support employee growth and career progression.
  • Ensure effective onboarding and training programs for new hires.
Performance Management:
  • Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals for global customer group.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related issues.
  • Implement strategies to improve employee performance and productivity.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Collaborate with compensation and benefits teams to develop competitive and equitable compensation programs.
  • Ensure alignment of compensation and benefits with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs.
Change Management:
  • Lead HR initiatives related to organizational change and transformation.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support business objectives.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees during periods of change.
What it Takes:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 12 years of HR experience, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience as a strategic HR business partner in a global organization. Experience leading a distributed team of global resources
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and global HR regulations (emphasis on US, UK, Germany and NL)
  • Preference given to individual who has supported sales, marketing and technology teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed

Physical Demands:

Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
