PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Embodies the Credit Union's core values of Trust Integrity, Teamwork and Making a Difference.
  • Serve as a strategic and trusted partner and advisor to business line leaders and hiring managers, staying informed on current and future staffing needs. Includes providing education to hiring managers regarding recruitment responsibilities, legal requirements, and candidate management.
  • Directs selection and recruitment of employees; interviews candidates and provides direction to the hiring manager about the interview process; administers appropriate proficiency tests to job applicants, ensuring that proper interviewing and testing practices are utilized in the hiring process; develops relationships with external employment sources; conducts employment verifications, reference checks, drug screens and obtains criminal background checks.
  • Works with HR leadership to track and analyze talent acquisition and talent management metrics and recommends solutions to support the company's Strategic Plan and Company Mission.
  • Participates, and may act as facilitator, in weekly new hire pipeline update.
  • Assists with overall recruiting strategy maintaining job boards, attending job fairs and recruiting events as required. Works with marketing to update social media postings.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining pipelines of applicants.
  • Serves on Diversity and Inclusion Council's Recruiting and Hiring sub-committee.
  • Manages relationships with all external recruiting agencies.
  • Manages relationship with 3rd party background vendors.
  • Helps to maintain HR Inbox and where possible responds to employee questions.
  • Performs other duties as requested or assigned and is to be expected.

Education
Bachelors (preferred)
Experience
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite of products (preferred)
2-3 years in Corporate HR Setting (required)
