WORK SHIFT DAY (United States of America)SUMMARY OF DUTIES This position is responsible for logistics and distribution analytics, project supervision, and continuous improvement management.SUMMARY OF DUTIES Responsible for global logistics and distribution analytics, project supervision, and continuous improvement management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED * Leads internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of global logistics projects. * Maps and documents logistics, shipping, transportation and distribution processes, procedures and requirements. * Establishes and tracks logistics, shipping, transportation, and distribution metrics and facilitates continuous improvement in Merit operations. * Collaborates and works with Merit distribution and manufacturing locations globally. * Ensures that all projects and assigned tasks are delivered on-time, within scope and budget. * Assists with the identification and definition of project scope and objectives. * Coordinates resource availability and allocation between cross-functional teams as required. * Develops detailed plans to monitor and track progress of assigned projects and tasks. * Manages and reports changes to project scope, schedule and costs to stakeholders. * Measures and reports performance and project status using appropriate tools and resources. * Leads and coordinates system and process validation with internal and external resources. * Performs risk management and problem resolution. * Establishes and maintains professional relationships with internal stakeholders and third parties/vendors. * Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation as required. * Supports logistics VP, director, manager, and operations as assigned. Performs other duties and tasks as required.
