Position Summary This position is responsible for examining the overall compliance and fiscal management flow of the company at all locations and at all levels, which includes the review of policies and procedures, financial records and reports, and company records to ensure they are accurate. The role of the Director of Internal Auditing is to gather relevant and objective information about the organization, independently and objectively evaluate the organization's operations to make improvements, and bring a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. This role will also require coordination with the Fincantieri S.p.A. global audit team based in Italy regarding strategic initiatives, focused audits, and global policies, procedures, directives, and controls that affect the U.S. entities. Traveling, domestic and international, will be required. This is a leadership position with direct management of employees. Essential Skills and Functions

Physical Demands and Work Environment This is an on-site position that will require travel to Fincantieri's shipyards and office locations in the U.S. and occasional international travel. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and occasionally stand or walk; use hands to handle materials or equipment; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, areas of the work environment may not be climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc. Education and Experience
