We are hiring a Maintenance Sales Specialist, and in this role, you will use your skills to support regional sales efforts to drive revenue in maintenance hardware and software.

Job Summary

This position will support regional sales efforts to drive additional revenue in the Hardware and Software maintenance area by providing the support for initial contract attach on new equipment, ongoing renewals, and contract consolidations.

*This is a fully remote role in the US*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Provide Mainline Account Executives alternative hardware/software maintenance quotations based on customer requirements.
  • Drive on-time renewals and ensure all potential renewals are secured.
  • Actively work to identify and close contract consolidation opportunities.
  • Meet with customers face to face to close contracts
  • Create Proposals
  • Determine quotes (Set/cut rates)
  • Manage contracts
  • Contract consolidation
  • Maintenance Contracts
  • Responsible for staying within predetermined budget & associated P&L
  • Other duties as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and deadlines.
  • Must have the ability to determine and negotiate appropriate quotes for customers.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications: word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software.
  • Experience usingOEM Maintenance quoting tools.
  • An aptitude to quickly gain an understanding of Hardware and Software Maintenance support services.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with Red Hat and VMWare a plus



Education and/or Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred. High school diploma required with a minimum of three to five years of related experience preferred.
  • Proven experience with Software Maintenance or Subscriptions is a plus.
  • Experience with SalesForce.com is a plus.


Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements



  • Physical environmental factors of this position include those found in typical business office environment or home office environment.
  • Requires use of general office equipment and personal computer equipment.
    Ability to travel. Various means of travel may be required, including auto and air travel. This position requires travel: Rarely
  • May be required to work irregular schedules including but not limited to as applicable: Nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and/or overtime.
