PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Crude Trucking Area Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily trucking operations, ensuring safety compliance, and fostering a positive team environment. Key duties include:

Team Leadership & Employee Engagement

* Foster a positive work environment by engaging with drivers daily, addressing concerns, and promoting driver retention

* Supervise and support drivers to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time operations.

* Assist onboarding and training new drivers on procedures and safety protocols

Operations & Efficiency

* Oversee trucking operations, maintenance scheduled, and personnel management at the area's truck station/hubs

* Coordinate with dispatch to adjust routes and schedules based on operational needs

* Monitor driver performance during loading/unloading to ensure adherence to best practices

* Maintain truck station facilities according to company standards

* Ensure accurate crude oil measurement at leas locations and stations, including overseeing meter provings to maintain measurement integrity and compliance

Safety & Compliance

* Enforce HES (Health, Environment, and Safety) policies to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards

* Conduct spot checks on personal protective equipment (PPE) and vehicle safety features

Collaboration & Customer Service

* Work closely with HES specialists, dispatch teams, analysts, and marketing managers to streamline operations

* Serve as liaison for lease groups, ensuring quality service and operational support

Financial & budget Management

* Track and manage area expenses, ensuring cost efficiency and budget adherence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Technical, or Transportation-related fields (preferred but not required)

* 3+ years of operations and management experience in crude trucking or other over-road/off-road trucking operations

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS

* This position requires 24/7 on-call availability

* Must be a self-started with the ability to work independently without direct supervision

* Strong verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency, and interpersonal skills are essential

* Must be a team player, willing to collaborate with other trucking divisions and companies within Energy Transfer to drive efficiency

* Must be skilled in coaching and developing leadership talent within the existing workforce

* Must maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

* HS Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

* 8+ years of relevant work experience
