This District Temp Part Time Student Intern position will receive training and gain practical business application, report and workflow development experience through training, mentoring, and performing assignments.

The intern will work closely with our team and learn to develop structured query language scripts to retrieve data from relational databases, develop visual reports to display data from relational databases using software such as Microsoft Power BI and Crystal Reports, develop workflows to automate processes using Power Automate, maintain web sites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or SharePoint, develop and maintain web applications using programming languages such as C#, C++, etc., and work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for web site management support. Perform other related business application duties as required.

Schedule: (PART TIME) 44/36, Monday through Friday with every other Friday off. (Position Terms on 12/31/2025)

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: Current enrollment in an accredited four-year college or university carrying a minimum of 12 semester units or 8 quarter units with junior or senior standing in a related major and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or current enrollment in an accredited graduate degree program in a related major with a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

Related major is defined as: Computer Science or Computer Engineering

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

License(s): Valid California Class C Driver's License or equivalent (required at time of application) that allows you to drive during your employment.
