This new role ofSenior Channel Marketing Specialist in Safco will be responsible for developing and executing an annual marketing plan in support of the various channels of our selling organization. This annual marketing plan will be developed in alignment with our overall business strategy - including brand and product - and in collaboration with the needs of each channel segment to drive more awareness, demand and sales. This role requires effective cross-functional collaboration across the various functions of the organization.

This full-time position will report to the Director of Sales and Customer Care and will be located in New Hope, MN.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute annual marketing calendar in collaboration with sales leaders, product teams and brand marketer.
  • Develop, execute and track (in Customer Relationship Management) specific marketing campaigns in each channel segment.
  • Manage content creation and syndication to channel participants.
  • Gather Voice of Market (VOM) on sales and marketing approaches in channel segments, including key target competitors.
  • Work with the National Accounts team to support execution of their annual account specific marketing calendars.
  • Identify, quality and manage vendors to support marketing plan execution as appropriate.
  • Manage trade shows in the channel segments and work with Sales Ops to execute.
  • Execute marketing and communication actions for new product commercialization and PIPO (Phase in Phase out) process.
  • Develop and execute communications within channel segments in collaboration with sales leadership.
  • Manage marketing spend for channel segments include trade show budget and vendor expenses.
  • Ensure proper execution and governance to company brand standards as defined by Brand Marketer.
  • Manage and execute price list formatting and communication within channel segments.
  • Requires up to 25% domestic travel.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, sales or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing
  • Proven success in delivering results
  • Process and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Office products or contract furniture experience
  • Marketing communication experience
  • B2B experience
  • Field sales experience
  • E-commerce channel experience

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The starting base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $112,000 per year plus eligibility in annual bonus program. The compensation posted is the anticipated pay for the position at the time of the posting. We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location. Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses or deferred compensation options.
