The University of Missouri School of Medicine Department of Surgery Job Description
The Department of Surgery is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as the Education Manager for the Department of Surgery Residencies and Fellowships. This position provides supervisory oversight of the General Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Urology Residency Coordinators, the Bariatric Surgery and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Coordinators and the Department of Surgery Medical Student Clerkship Coordinator. In addition, this individual will serve as the Vascular Surgery Fellowship Coordinator. This role assists the Program Directors and Office of Graduate Medical Education with the oversite of curriculum development, resident/fellow wellness and research activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: *Provides administrative oversight for all programs and meets the secretarial needs of the programs as required. This includes but is not limited to the following: handling inquiries, sorting correspondence, setting up folders, maintaining residency and fellowship program files in accordance with records retention schedules, assisting in requests for verification of residency training. Work Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Anticipated Hiring Range
Hiring Range: $51,875-$94,141 Application Materials
