The MaLL is a computer lab that utilizes Aleks software and scheduled tutors for Math 1215XYZ, Intermediate Algebra. Students work through topics during class time and will raise their hand to ask various math/class related questions. The lab is open 10 am - 2 pm, Monday - Friday, with tutors being scheduled throughout the day to help students during class and outside of it. Generally speaking, there is the potential to work 10-15 hours a week. This can possibly include a few remote hours of online tutoring via Zoom, depending on current scheduling and student body needs; however, this position is quite predominantly an in-person role.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants need to include a resume and proof of passing College Algebra (and/or Intermediate Algebra) with a "B". A cover letter, explaining your past experiences tutoring, your math experience, etc. is not required but is recommended.
