InsightFS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Responsible for dispatching and coordinating agronomy products, administrative support, and daily operational duties at the location.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Receives orders and generates delivery tickets and blend tickets for all products shipped from the plant.
Dispatches bulk dry and liquid fertilizer wagons for agronomy.
Dispatches applicator machines and tender trucks for fertilizer and lime.
Assist applicators with setup and updating of apps on tablets.
Maintains and coordinates inventory records, reconciles inventory variances, and posts inventory transactions.
Answers phone and communicates with location personnel to resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.
Collects and processes data related to division goals, including applicator logs.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist the Location Admin as needed in periods of high volume or to cover during an absence.
May be required to run local errands.
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 1 or more years of retail related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of basic business principles including dispatch, inventory management and customer service.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Frequently exposed to working conditions that may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards.
Will be required to work hours other than those considered "normal" to meet seasonal demands.
Normally requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) as well as a forklift operator's certification.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
