Job Summary:
The Senior Manager of Process Engineering will be responsible for leading a team of process engineers to develop and optimize manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering and management, with experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of process engineers to develop and optimize manufacturing processes
Develop the team by defining goals, empowering the team, and promoting a growth mindset
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and work instructions
Plan and coordinate equipment purchase/installation activities including defining tool process requirements, acceptance testing criteria, facility needs, and qualification activities
Capability to adapt to the company's changing needs and priorities and be self-motivated.
Willingness to take responsibility and ownership to aggressively focus on problems individually or part of a larger team
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Manage project timelines and budgets
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
Identify and implement training programs to develop team members' skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role
Ability to manage complex project execution and multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on precision and quality
Adaptability to learn and implement new technologies and methods
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $163,400 and $214,410. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
