FTE 1Scheduled Bi-Weekly Hours 80Work Shift Day: 8 hoursJob Description Responsible for providing supervision, coaching and training of Patient Registration staff within assigned area of responsibility. Directs daily work activity and manages special projects. Serves as liaison between utilization management, contracting, finance, patient accounts, nursing departments and other departments enterprise wide to resolve problems and implement performance improvement activities that will make the patient experience an excellent one. The supervisor understands the role and importance of the registration and billing process in meeting the objectives of the revenue cycle within the Revenue Cycle division. May be assigned to oversee the Financial Counseling duties providing benefits, eligibility, patient estimates and financial discussions with our Patients. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. One year experience in a management or leadership role. Thorough knowledge of insurance plans and coverage requirements. Hands on Epic knowledge and experience. Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Intermediate Computer skills (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word). Flexible and capable of working under daily changing conditions. Ability to travel between campuses.
