Job Description:

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for providing support to the Director of Facilities in management of all ongoing construction projects and office build-outs. In addition, the Facilities Supervisor manages the Facilities team to ensure proper scheduling and completion of ongoing and preventative maintenance of PMA's office locations. Where and when necessary, the Facilities Supervisor will provide hands-on support to the Facilities team for emergency situations and repairs within the Corporate Office.

Responsibilities



  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs as required
  • Inspect and review work performed by vendors for accuracy and completion
  • Manage Service Request system to ensure completion of all maintenance requests; follow up with all involved parties when there is a delay or the assignment cannot be completed within an appropriate time
  • Work with contracted vendors to schedule inspections and preventative maintenance visits; discuss any required or recommended follow-up with the Director of Facilities
  • Work with Facilities Dept. team members to ensure that Preventative Maintenance agreements are in place and up-to-date for services at all locations
  • Work with Facilities dept. team members to procure three (3) bids for all Preventative Maintenance agreements
  • Work with Facilities dept. team members to procure three (3) bids for all projects
  • Respond to alarm messages and after-hours emergencies when Facilities technicians are unavailable
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance materials and supplies
  • Demonstrate commitment to Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required. Some college or additional training is preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in Facilities with experience in managing commercial build-outs is required
  • Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Must be able to manage time and staff efficiently
  • Strong communication, teamwork and follow-up skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
