Course and Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and organization of professional development courses and classes, both in person and online. Follow detail established protocols for event management and execution. Communicate closely with instructors and participants to ensure smooth execution. Responsible for planning and coordinating field trips and events for the Lowell Institute. Monitor the programs course calendar. Facilitate the necessary travel accommodation and itineraries. Help monitor budgets, invoicing to clients and participants and monitor payments to vendors. Ensure compliance with the university of Arizona's policies and procedures. Become proficient in university protocols for travel, purchasing, and vendor engagement. Manager meal arrangements and other logistical needs for courses. Course Preparation: Prepare materials required for short courses, meeting, and classes, Provide special support for intensive short courses offered throughout the year, Travel Support: Travel in-state and out-of-state as needed to support program activities. Website and Media Updates: Work directly with the program manager to update the program's website and social media communications.
