Design Verification CPU Core & Block
Looking for a CPU core level feature/test plan verification engineer responsible for ISA oarchitectural verification. This will be hybrid, based out of Austin, TX or Santa Clara, CA.
Scope:
* Functional verification with emphasis on core level test planning, stimulus development gression debug for simulation & emulation regressions.
* Understand ISA oarchitectural specifications for the Core & create comprehensive test plans.
* Hands-on debug for core level failures. Propose/implement stimulus enhancements & debug capability improvements for core, cluster & chip level testbench environments
* Develop architectural oarchitectural coverage for core features & create stimulus for closing coverage in a timely manner
* Support design deployment across simulation & emulation platforms
* Develop random & directed stimulus that spans pre-silicon, emulation & post-silicon domain.
* Work with design, test, & post silicon validation teams to ensure high quality delivery of the entire CPU core / cluster.
Required:
* 7+ years of experience
* Strong background & experience with high performance OOO CPU microarchitecture
* Experience with one or more ISAs - x86, ARM or RISCV.
* Experience debugging RTL & DV in a simulation environment, proficient at waveform & log file-based debug.
* Experienced with assembly, C/C++ & UVM based stimulus generation targeting both ISA oarchitectural scenarios.
* Familiar with simulation, formal & emulation environments.
* Hands-on with scripting - Python, PERL.
* Experience with HW description languages (Verilog, VHDL) & simulators (VCS, NC, Verilator).
