Tower Semiconductor is a global specialty foundry leader! We specialize in manufacturing analog integrated circuits for more than 300 customers worldwide in growing markets such as automotive, medical, industrial, consumer and aerospace and defense, among others.

Job Responsibilities
  • Understand the quality needs of customers, products, the manufacturing line, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide customer support for quality inquiries and customer audits.
  • Engage in all processes from product development to shipping and customer support, deeply involved in manufacturing from a quality perspective to meet customer expectations.
  • Listen to customer feedback on quality, new requests, complaints, and respond to those requests to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Provide support to and communicate with customers through emails, meetings, etc.
  • Improve product quality.
  • Utilize systems such as internal audits and continuous improvement process activities to achieve quality goals.
  • Coordinate investigations using 8D methodology/statistical analysis, working with interdepartmental teams to determine risks and root causes, along with corrective and preventative activities to eliminate quality issues and prevent recurrences.
  • Build a robust quality management system to support processes from the development phase to mass production.
Work Environment

Assignment Complexity- Assignments are complex in nature, engineering judgment required. Has innovative thinking.

Accountability/Discretion - Responsible for actions deadlines.

Working Relationships - Good people skills. Facilitate technical analysis and collaborate with multi-disciplined teams.

Supervision - Minimal supervision on daily activities.

Job Requirements
  • Engineering/chemistry/physics/mathematics bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of quality, process, or integration engineering experience in a semiconductor fabrication facility or similar is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed.
  • Computer literate (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Data mining, analysis and software/automation skills (JMP, SQL, or similar db/scripting skills) are an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of various quality systems standard (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, etc.).
  • Firm understanding Project/Program Management principles and skills (MS Project or similar), detail oriented, disciplined, are preferred traits.
  • Lean Six-Sigma knowledge is an advantage.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Compensation: $88,270 - $144,651
