Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology/related discipline is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire with ability to obtain a Polygraph. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


Responsibilities for this Position

Overview: Join our team to work on advanced technology supporting national defense and intelligence services. Collaborate with esteemed customers and be part of crucial national security missions.

What You'll Experience:

  • Manage and maintain Oracle databases to ensure they run smoothly and securely.
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues with web and database servers.
  • Perform daily backups, check server health, and document findings.
  • Develop and apply security strategies for database management.
  • Support important operations and provide after-hours assistance when necessary.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; Master's is a plus.
  • 6-8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, including Oracle 19c and later versions.
  • Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and UNIX/Linux.
  • Strong understanding of database security and performance tuning.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Experience with Virtual servers, ESXI and VCenter, AWS, and Apache web server httpd.
  • Experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication service and Oracle Label Security.
  • Familiarity with developing web applications using PL/SQL, PHP and Java.
  • Help desk experience and ability to write clear documentation.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills under pressure.
  • TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a polygraph.
