Job ID:111564 The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services. Job Summary In this role, located in Huntsville, AL, you will be involved with the verification and validation of new and / or existing systems / sub-systems. Includes test planning, procedure development, and test execution to verify product design or validate functional operation in the intended environment. Includes documentation of results for use in formal reports. May include development of test hardware and software. May include system / sub-system hardware and software debug, as well as test hardware and software debug. Job Responsibilities Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems May use computer-aided engineering or other design / analysis software in the performance of assignments Ability to work independently under supervision of others Provide regular reporting of progress and status Responsible for completion of assigned task on time and meeting technical requirements Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services Communicate clearly (written and oral) with other company personnel and the customer as required May participate in preparation of less complex proposals Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization Attend appropriate engineering, customer, or business meetings Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or Related technical field Functional knowledge of the operation of the Abrams M1A1 tank and failure modes of the Abrams M1A1 subsystems Familiarity of the Abrams M1A1 Embedded Diagnostics system Taking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
