Summary of Position

Do you have a keen eye for capturing the essence of construction projects? Kinsley Construction is seeking a Construction Photographer to join our Marketing team in York, PA. The ideal candidate will be able to blend artistic vision with practical business considerations while possessing a sharp eye for detail both behind the lens and on-screen. Kinsley Construction's Marketing Department is a central resource for all our divisions. We drive effective marketing communications and empower internal customers by documenting employees and projects across the company.

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing Communications, this role demands a commitment to meeting deadlines, readiness to travel locally and regionally, and flexibility to work non-traditional hours. We are looking for candidates who have a positive attitude, exhibit professionalism and are comfortable wearing a hard hat and construction boots. A comprehensive portfolio showcasing your diverse range of photography skills and experience is required for the application process of this position.

Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos that showcase our projects and team members.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for various channels.
  • Manage project photography schedules and ensure brand consistency across all visuals.
  • Proactively communicate with construction project personnel, identifying opportunities to offer additional documentation services to clients.
  • Represent Kinsley Construction in a positive light, maintaining a professional demeanor both on and off-site.
  • Proficiently utilize various computer programs to manage projects and enter data.
  • Curate a strong asset library of images and maintain asset archives on Kinsley's digital asset management platform using consistent naming conventions and folder structures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the Marketing Department.

Experience & Education

  • Demonstrated experience in both architectural and portrait photography, with a strong understanding of composition, lighting and post-processing techniques.
  • Comfortability working on construction sites, including standing and moving for extended periods, while adapting to unpredictable conditions.
  • Display an interest in construction (bonus points for 2-3 years of industry experience!)
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines and contributing as a team player.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, with the willingness to travel regionally and work non-standard hours as needed.
  • Capability of managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Execute work safely and efficiently, adhering to oral and written instructions, including safety protocols and equipment usage guidelines.
  • Hold a valid FAA drone license or be willing/able to obtain it.
